B1 Personal Progression Evaluation: Research into my Future Options: Moving forward from college, I am very much interested in securing employment in a media related role. Because of this,  I narrowed my internet search to Media jobs in the North East.  www.totaljobs.com   and  www.reed.co.uk  seemed to be quite popular websites. I viewed the job specifications but many of them required at least 1 year previous job experience and degree level qualifications. I feel an apprentice position would be the most suitable for me to start my career in media. I have...

B1 Networking

Networking: On Thursday the 27th of January 2022, I attended a virtual Networking experience named "The ITV Masterclass". This experience was with 'Working Options In Education", a charity founded in 2010 which aims to aid young people with employment and life skills. They specialise in helping those between ages 14 and 19 and have inspired more than 20,000 young people using their employability and life skills programme. They also have a  Career Pathways programme  which is delivered free in state schools, colleges and online by industry volunteers.  From this experience, I have learned that the media industry is extremely large and contains a wide range of different professions and career opportunities such as various types of apprenticeships.
